How to tie the Missing Link Caddis
This is the fly you’ve been missing from your fly box. The trout laugh as you throw your elk hair caddis past them for the 100th time just not believing that it’s actually a caddis. Then you tie this bad boy on, and pull the wool back over their eyes and land the fish of your dreams.
The missing link caddis is a caddis imitation with a excellent insect profile. It imitates a real caddis better likely due to its wing arrangement and it floats well on the water too making it easy to fish. you can tie this in a variety of colors and sizes though I prefer Olive, tan and orange as my colors in sizes #12 – #18.
