You can see where private land ends and public land begins.  You can see who owns the property and more.  These maps have been proven to be the most reliable maps around and are used for hunting, where property lines are very important.  We’ve taken them and applied them to fishing.  Once you use our maps to understand the rivers and basic access points, you can log on here to plot out your adventure.

This is huge.  You can take this info on the go with you while you fish and with cell service, you can easily access the maps on the go adjusting to different areas if your first plans aren’t working out as you’d hoped.

We know a lot of the places you fish don’t have reliable cell service.  Plan ahead and download up to 10 squares of data off the map so you can access it offline and view the details to find the best water to fish.

Using the tracking feature, you can trace your trail while out in the wilderness.  If you’re really going to fish off the beaten trail and want to track your steps, OnX maps allows you to track your steps.

You can add waypoints to your maps and upload photos on location of fish caught or scenery you’d like to photograph right from your phone. 

You can add and remove relevant map layers  on your app.  I’ve noticed a lot of the layers apply to hunting, and removing some of them speeds up the app and makes it easier to understand as you explore new fishing spots.
