Brush Creek is a really fun creek with a surprise around every turn. The creek here meanders through plenty of willows and other small vegetation. Casting is relatively easy and the fish are surprisingly big and healthy. More bends of this creek contain deeper holes than many of the other creeks in the region, so nymphing can be especially productive. Anglers can get lost in all of the bends and turns of the creek here; the scenery is fantastic as well. Armed with basic fly-fishing knowledge, a beginning angler can expect opportunities to improve casting, see a high quantity of fish and have a reasonable chance at catching these fish on the fly. Brush Creek is great for the beginning angler looking to improve their skills while having a productive day fishing.
