Brush creek is a small feeder creek of the Lower Eagle that gets looked over easily.  It holds a good amount of trout throughout the year and fishes best in spring and summer, but can fish well in fall as larger browns move out of the Eagle into the stream.  There is a designated parking area that yields access to the Eagle and confluence of Brush Creek that has some fish in it and other sections up above that are worth exploring as well.  If you aren’t having luck on the Eagle or are looking for some different water to fish for the day off the beaten trail  in the Eagle/Vail area, this is a fun option with some surprisingly nice fish if you can convince them to eat.
