This gem of a river is a lesser known and off the beaten path kind of area.  The fish vary greatly in size depending on where you access the river in my experience but it is an awesome day in solitude as long as you avoid the waterfall area where many jump and swim.  Bows, Browns and cutts all call this river home and usually dries are all that is needed to catch fish.  Great hopper/dropper action in the late summer and fall.  I’d recommend packing a lunch, plenty of water and good hiking shoes that you can also wade in as this is a hike and fish kind of place.  Make sure someone else knows where you’re going, and then set off on your adventure.  People who want to fish the kind of waters like this don’t want me sharing everything about this river, so I’ll end here and just say, it’s worth the adventure!
