Tenmile Creek is a small stream with some small fish that can be caught with ease. Starting up in Vail pass and making its way through copper mountain and eventually flowing into Dillion Reservoir. West Tenmile flows right through the middle of Vail pass and is a fun place to chase brook trout along the bike trail. In Copper mountain down to Frisco, you can fish for browns primarily with some rainbows and cutties too. Fish don’t get too large here but can be a lot of fun to catch and it’s only 1 1/2 hrs away. It’s a good option if you wanna get away from some crowds and fish something close by.
