Tips on fishing this assortment:

• Match the hatch: Observe the insects in the water and choose a fly that matches the size and color of the insects you see.
• Use the right size: Make sure you have the right size fly for the depth and speed of the water you’re fishing.  When in doubt use the smaller sizes.
• Vary your drift: Experiment with different drifts (drag-free, skating, raising your rod tip at the end of the drift etc.) to find the one that works best for the fish you’re targeting.
• Cover water: Avoid the ole’ Rootitis where you sit in the same hole all day and move around.  Fish are usually more willing to feed when you’re fishing to un-disturbed fish.  Covering water is good exercise, and a good way to catch more fish too.
