The East river and it’s tributaries doesn’t get as much action as it’s neighbor the Taylor, but it still holds a bunch of nice fish that range from 12”-18”.  Fish are fewer in numbers but still provide a great day of fishing and a way to beat the crowds vs being on the Gunnison or the Taylor.  Many of the tributaries hold trout as well and are worth exploring.

The views along are enough to make this river worth fishing, but a dry dropper rig during the summer days will make this river a fishful memory.
