Jefferson creek is a small meandering creek that holds browns and brook trout.  Though the area can get crowded, the river gets less pressure making it a fun place to enjoy a day exploring a new river.  Fishing isn’t overly difficult once you get your fly in the water.  Watching your back casts and shortening up your casts with a stealthy approach to the river will yield you many fish.  You can also fish downstream and skate the fly to bring up the brook trout out of every hole.  I like to fish upstream than sneak around the hole and skate flies upstream.  I’ll often land multiple trout out of the same hole this way.
